Our band has fine reputation of great harmonies, unique covers, and variety in instrumentation. This little website will evolve as Dave finds time to develop it in his spare time.
We maintain a very good schedule on our MySpace Site. MySpace's rules don't allow us to post our cover songs so enjoy a few of our live cuts of our originals posted there. Covers are 95% percent of what we do in concert, but Tim & Dave though have been writing much of their life. We do work a few into our concert; Eight is Midnight is actually a co-written piece by Tim and Dave, and Shelly wrote the flute break to give it a truly original flair but still sounds like it could be from the Jethro Tull or Marshall Tucker.
Our little group started as Holmen Lutheran Church's praise band, ACTS. (Accentuating Christ Thru Song), and we still play one weekend each month, usually the 3rd weekend but feel free to call ahead if you want to check 608.526.3621. Paula is actually the Music Coordinator at church, and with our background we have done numerous Christian Wedding services. Plus our availability of sound system allows for us to make your outside services come together in song and sound.
We have played private parties and fine establishments in the LaCrosse area including, The Freight House, The Trempealeau Hotel, Features Sports Bar & Grill, and The Blue Cup Coffeehouse (whose owner Kim gave us our first gig back in 2003). Our song list is varied and includes songs from many well known artists like Indigo Girls, James Taylor, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, John Prine, Van Morrison, Santanna, Marshall Tucker, The Band, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, CSN&Y as well as some obscure artists like the Gear Daddies, Samantha Farrell, and the BoDeans. We'll be able to supply you a cd of some live cuts, or names and numbers of people you can call for references. Dave has released a Digital CD in iTunes named Gypsy Soul by Dave Zeman, and all the information is at his blog. He also diligently posts to several blogs, and his YouTube account has a numerous covers, originals, and guitar playing instructional videos. Now if only he could sing as well as his band mates... HA. Speaking of Dave's singing skills, he's also known to be a charter member in a band called, Holy Crap.
Tim has MySpace site that he uses to very seldomly but he has a few original gems on there. He has also been known to slip out and play with Steve Topel in a group called Guitar Logic.
